Hydro-electricity is the future of energy in North America, and the source of thousands of jobs for New Hampshire's working men and women. 

New Hampshire needs a large-scale hydroelectric project to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels while strengthening our state's economy with high-impact green jobs.

Over the four or five years the Northern Pass is being constructed, it will create new jobs each year that estimates tell us will number well over 1,000 … and these are well-paying, professional jobs that can turn into careers for many. Aside from good salaries, construction workers will earn additional benefits to help support their families. 

Work will be available in several different sectors, including construction, such as Plumbers, Laborers, Electrical Linemen and Electricians; Heavy Equipment Operators, Suppliers and Systems Technicians.
